In this course, attendees will learn how to use Sound Pressure Level Audiograms. real Ear to Coupler Difference (RECD), and Speech Intelligibility Index (SII) to better educate patients on hearing loss and hearing aid output and improve hearing aid performance and patient satisfaction.

Audiology ranks in the top 10 most stressful jobs and is an increasingly common factor of burnout. Stress driven by clinical demands and emotional labor can certainly lead to burnout, especially when combined with misalignment between personal strengths and workplace expectations. This session explores where you get your energy and what depletes you and how environment and personality influence stress load. Participants will learn strategies to optimize role alignment, incorporate mindfulness and healthy outlets, and adapt energy-recovery practices when job restructuring isn't possible. Through reflection and action planning, attendees will gain practical approaches for reframing their role for the future.

Online Accessibility: How to Make Your Practice Stand Out – Laura Pratesi, AuD
Many practices make the mistake of not incorporating universal design into their websites or brick and mortar practices. These faux pas can deter disabled clientele from ever coming to their practice. In this session, participants will learn how to integrate accommodations into their practice structure so that hard of hearing, d/Dear, Deaf/Blind, Deaf/Disabled, and other patients can have access to audiological care. 

Sound Judgement: Ethics for Today's Audiologist – Laura Pratesi, AuD
In this session, attendees will learn about standards of care, why we need them, and how they are developed. Universal standards of care are needed by audiologists to grow and thrive in their practice and meet future threats to the profession. 

This session introduces 12 new CPT codes that describe the range and intensity of hearing device services provided by audiologists for air conduction hearing aids. The new CPT codes became available for use on January 1, 2026, and they capture six key components of the patient care journey: candidacy determination, hearing aid selection, fitting, post-fitting follow-up, device verification, and supplemental device fitting. The presenter will offer a first-hand account of the development of the new codes, including details on the code structure and intended use, with guidance for navigating implementation in audiology practice. 

Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation from a Physical Therapy Perspecitve – Emma Faulkner, DPT
Physical therapists are essential members of a vestibular treatment team. They play a role in identifying, assessing, and treating vestibular disorders to restore function and improve quality of life. This presentation will review key components of a comprehensive vestibular assessment and discuss evidence-based rehabilitation strategies with an emphasis on tailoring interventions to individual patient needs and functional goals. Case examples will highlight clinical resoning and the integration of vestibular rehab into a multidisciplinary treatment team. Attendees will leave with practical tools to enhance their evaluation skills and apply effective vestibular interventions in diverse clinical settings.
